Race Schedule...

So here are the races for the rest of the year and into 2012...Let the games begin.

16 October 2011 - The Other Half - Moab, UT

4 December 211 - Las Vegas Rock-n-Roll - Las Vegas, NV

29 January 2012 - Tinkerbell Half-Marathon - Disneyland, CA

26 February 2012 - Princess Half Marathon - Disneyworld, FL

4 March 2012 - New Orleans Rock-n-Roll - New Orleans, LA

April 2012 - Horsetooth 1/2 Marathon - Fort Collins, CO

6 May 2012 - Colorado 1/2 Marathon - Fort Collins, CO

Jelly Making...

So the last two weeks have been a jelly/jam extravaganza at our house...

I had lots of Peaches from the Fruit Share I get...so many in fact I had to do something with them. 24 jars of peach preserves later...Yummy.

I also made 12 jars of Jalapeno Pepper Jelly.

The next adventure is Pineapple Habanero Jelly.

So here is the so called possible plan...as of today anyway.

Feb 13 - New Orlean 1/2 Marathon
This one should be interesting...seeing as how my training went to crap after my three in a row in October of 2010.

April 24 - Cheyenne Mountain 25k Trail Run
Maybe...Maybe not

May 1 - Fort Collins Old Town 1/2 Marathon

June 4 - Golden Gate Dirty Thirty
Does one do the 7-mile or the 12 mile??

So my first 1/2 marathon back in the first weekend in October in Florida...

Paid off...

So now that the 4-runner has been paid off for a number of months...I have been thinking it is time to start looking into some new transportation...

I was thinking something along these lines...
