Day 10 of Flu...

So I am now on Day 10 of this funky flu/infection I caught...my boss seems to think I will probably end with with walking phenomia. I guess it is a possibility.

I have been having to work through it...since my company's sales meeting was earlier this week. We had 3 people put into the hospital since Saturday...don't know if they picked up the funk here or brought it with them.

I have had to miss 2 snowshoe races due to this funk...which mean I now don't qualify for the series. I really didn't know how I would run in snowshoes at 9,000ft in altitude when I was caughing my lungs up anyway.

Oh....Joel's eye chop went fine...he can now see 20/15.

Eye Chop

So today is Joel's eye chop...hopefully all goes well and he can see the cat on the carpet. Time will tell...

Still fighting the Flu...they still don't want me at work.

Brought back Mexican Goat Flu...

So I'm back from the Tex-Mex hash in El Paso and Mexico...along with the flu. I couldn't even get out of bed yesterday I hurt so bad.

At least today I went to work for 1/2 a day...until everyone sent me home. I can't even do my snowshoe race tonight...it will have to be my only miss...since I have to complete 5/6 in order to qualify.

Not much else...work is swamping me with the Sales meeting this weekend.

New Slippers???

Anyone for some of the latest style is house slippers???

How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:

You need four maxi pads to make a pair.

Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.

The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.

Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part. Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers, etc.

These slippers are:

* Soft and Hygienic

* Non-slip grip strips on the soles

* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh

* No more bending over to mop up spills

* Disposable and biodegradable

* Environmentally safe

* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.
