So I am now participating in a Dinner exchange club. This is where families get together and exchange dinners. So depending upon how many families participate each month will determine how many meals you make and will get. This is the first month that I am participating and there are a total of 8 families (including me). So I have to make seven dinners of the same thing to exchange...I will get 7 different meals out of this.
The rules are simple:
1) Must be child friendly (since most have children under age 7 and are learning to eat)
2) Must be high quality and mostly healthy...aka no fatty meats...get the good stuff.
3) No gross combinations...ie green olives, raisins, and cinnamon. (What?!?!)
4) Not too spicy...hot, salty, pepper, etc.
5) Must be able to be frozen and reheated easily.
I am excited about this...hopefully I will get some new recipes out of this and quit eating the same old thing during the week.
